Ways to Give

The Fund for DeMatha provides support for ongoing yearly costs, including student programs. The Fund for DeMatha runs from July 1 - June 30 of each year. Donate Online »

Our faculty define the DeMatha education. The Buck Offutt Faculty Fund allows our faculty to continue their education, pursues professional development, purchases resources tor their classrooms, and provides stipends to teachers through a number of endowed chairs.

Annually, approximately 70% of DeMatha students receive $1.4 million in merit scholarships and financial aid. Even with the generous financial aid packages offered, each year a number of young men and their families determine they cannot afford to attend DeMatha.

Our campaign goals for financial aid are to:

-Address the current needs for financial aid by increasing support of funds to bolster our current enrollment.

-Strengthen our permanent financial aid funds, to ensure that DeMatha has the capacity to support our families in perpetuity.

For questions about planned giving (St. John de Matha Society), through bequests, insurance policies, annuities or trusts, please contact Tom Ponton at 240-764-2222 or at tponton@dematha.org. DeMatha also accepts gifts of stock and real estate.

DeMatha participates in many workplace giving programs, including United Way (8392), Combined Federal Campaign (CFC – 89951), Maryland Charity Campaign (52-0607998), DC Government's One Fund and others.
