Daily Mass will be celebrated during the interim period 10:30 am in the chapel. All are welcome to spend some time in prayer every day.

Adoration will take place on Friday mornings before school from 7:45 to 8:05 am. This is a great way to grow in your relationship with God during this Lenten season. You can just drop in or stay the whole time. All are welcome.


Eucharistic Adoration will continue throughout the month of February. Friday, February 16, Adoration will be in the chapel during Block 8 (1:00 PM). All are welcome.


Lenten Drive: To help support the CMO's Lenten Drive to raise money for Catholic Relief Services, the DeMatha House Cup will be placing House Collection Bottles on the Third Floor of the Convocation Center and occasionally in the cafeteria just as we did during the CMO Food Drive. First Place House earns 50 points and - even better more funding goes to the great work of the CRS.


Make a pledge to grow in your relationship with Jesus this Lent and share it! You can write your pledge on the columns in the main lobby.


Character Conversations will take place on Tuesday, February 20 during the interim.


Detention: Students issued detention are required to serve that detention the day the detention is to be served. The cost is $20. Students who do not serve detention will be suspended and/or issued an additional detention.


Seton Symposium on Human Trafficking: Are you interested in learning more about human trafficking and how to stop it? Join us for the annual Human Trafficking symposium at Elizabeth Seton on March 1st. To sign up, see Mrs. Penndorf in the Campus Ministry Office by Friday, February 23rd.


President’s Day, Monday, February 19 school and offices will be closed.


Lenten Practices It is the expectation of the Catholic Church that on Ash Wednesday and all the Fridays of Lent no meat will be eaten as a sign of penance. Therefore, beginning this Wednesday, no meat will be served in the cafeteria that day and on all Fridays.


Stag Store Early Closing: The Stag Store will be closed at 11:00 am on Friday, February 16th.


Calendar Update: The NHS Blood Drive originally scheduled for Thursday, February 15, has been change to Wednesday, March 21.


Seniors who are eligible for the senior service interview must sign up by Friday, February 16. The link and info were sent to seniors' DeMatha email accounts.


SAT Prep Class will start this week and will meet on the third floor of St. John de Matha Hall starting at 3:00. Math SAT will meet on Monday and Wednesday with Mr. Hurst and Reading SAT will meet on Tuesday and Thursday with Mr. Smith. Mrs. McKee in the Counseling Center has applications for the class if you are still interested. See Mr. Smith or Mr. Hurst if you have questions.
