Daily Mass: There will be
no mass Friday, April 20 in the
chapel during interim. Mass will resume
on Monday, April 23.
Academic
Awards Night: Many of our students have received
invitations to Academic Awards Night on Wednesday,
April 25. If you have not yet done
so, be sure to RSVP to Mrs. Donna Davis in the Main Office. Seniors may wish to delay donating blazers
since dress for Academics Awards Night is DM winter uniform or coat and tie.
Prefects/Homeroom

Conversation. Please check your email
for information.
Campus
Ministry:

The
Campus Ministry Office just go a new-to-us couch! Stop on by during your free period to take a
break.

If
you are on work study and would be interested in doing the morning prayer, for
your work study, please see Mrs. Penndorf in the Campus Ministry Office as soon
as possible.
Spring
Uniforms: Seniors can wear any polo
starting Wednesday, April 18th and underclassmen may wear
DeMatha polo starting Thursday, April 26th. Please refer to page 69 of the student
handbook.
Senior Blazers: Seniors are asked
to donate their blazers starting Wednesday, April 18th. Please drop them off in the Attendance
Office.
The Ecology Club park cleanup has been rescheduled
to Monday, April 23rd. The Ecology Club will be
going to our adopted park to clear English Ivy and wisteria off of the trees.
Gloves and clippers and transportation will be provided. Permission form is
needed. Please email/see Mrs. Stockton. Seniors and Freshman can
earn 1 hour of non-contact service.
Varsity Football
Manager: Anyone interested in being a Varsity
Football Manager for the 2018 season should see Ms. Norris in the Athletic
Training room to sign up.
The DeMatha
Players are proud to
present William Golding’s famous “Lord
of the Flies”. What happens when a
group, of young boys, crashes on a deserted island, leaving them without adult
supervision? Come see the answer at our
shows at the Bowie Center for the Performing Arts. Shows are
Friday, April 27; Saturday, April 28; and
Sunday, April 29. Tickets on
sale at the Stag Store and online.
Tickets are $5.
Deadline for Tickets Junior/Senior
Prom: The
Prom will be held on Friday, May
4, at the College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center,
University of Maryland 3501 University Blvd. East, Adelphi MD 20783 from 7:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Formal attire
is required. Check-in begins at 6:30 p.m. Dinner will be served
at 7:30 p.m. No entry after 8:30 p.m. Student may not
leave until 11:30 p.m. Tickets
will be available in the Business Office in St. John DeMatha
Hall through Friday, April
13 for $75 per person. Payment by cash or check. No
refunds!
