Bus Transportation

Transportation 2026-27

DeMatha and Elizabeth Seton High School have partnered with Zeelo, an outside transportation specialist, to manage our morning and afternoon bus routes. Transportation services will be available for purchase through Zeelo (app or webpage) for morning and afternoon rides, as well as transportation during exams and shorten school days. DeMatha offers free bus transportation to and from the College Park Metro in the mornings and evenings for students. Please see more information under ADDITIONAL TRANSPORTATION NOTES FOR 2026-27.

App-Based Scheduling: All riders will now register and schedule trips through the Zeelo app. All passes for riding will be purchased prior to riding the bus.
Flexible Payment Options: We are moving away from quarterly-only selections. You will now have more options for purchasing routes, allowing you to choose plans that better fit your family’s specific needs.
Real-Time Tracking: The new platform will offer live vehicle tracking and instant service updates for students/parents/guardians.

Mark Your Calendars:

Registration for School Year 26-27 is currently open for annual and semester passes.
Registration for School Year 26-27 one ride and pass bundles (10 and 20 rides) will open Friday August 21st.
Zoom Information Session with Zeelo representatives will be held the following dates (zoom link will be sent closer to meeting dates)

The First Day of Transportation services through Zeelo for DeMatha students is the First Day of School, September 1st.

Booking Information

Please note that passes can be purchased for Annual Transportation (both One-Way or Roundtrip), Semester Transportation (One-Way or Roundtrip), Single Ride (AM or PM transportation), or Ride Bundles (10 or 20 rides). Annual and Semester passes will automatically place your student on a route and stop as selected during purchase. For Single Rides (purchased Single Ride or Bundles), you will need to select a route and stop to use the Ride pass. The transportation calendar will be open for 2 weeks at a time starting, and updated Saturdays.

General Notes and Fees

All questions about routes and pass purchasing should be directed to Zeelo customer service at 716-575-2271.
All riders must have purchased a “ride” and have related QR code for that ride in order to board the bus.
Riders should arrive at their stop 10 minutes before the posted pick-up time.
All rides must be purchased in advance. There are no payment plan options.
Transportation purchases for the school year will open up June 1st, only offering annual and semester pass purchases. Single rides and ride bundles will be available for purchase approximately a week before school starts.
No refunds will be issued and “rides” do not roll over to the next school year.

Route Information

Metro Shuttle

The Metro Shuttle bus picks up students at the COLLEGE PARK Green Line Metro (Route 1 side of Calvert Road) at 7:45 a.m. on regular school days. The shuttle will depart DeMatha for the COLLEGE PARK Green Line Metro at 3:10 p.m. or 15 minutes after the school day ends. Students wishing to utilize the Metro Shuttle in the afternoons should be at the bus located on 44th Street, along the side of the Convocation Center before 3:10. This is a free service provided by the school.
