Bus Transportation Registration - 2021-2022

Registration is available throughout the school year. Please click "Registration" and follow the instructions provided. Scroll to the bottom of this page for more information regarding fees and services. 

Registration for the 2022-2023 school year is not currently available. Parent alerts will be released when registration opens.

DeMatha Catholic High School offers School Bus Transportation from various areas and also provides transportation to Elizabeth Seton Catholic High School. DeMatha and Seton students who sign up for two-way transportation are given first priority, over those who use the services one-way.

Bus service includes a morning trip, return trip, and services on mid-term and final exam dates. The DeMatha and Seton School Calendars are used with considerations for specific events and situations. DeMatha will decide delayed openings and early dismissals.

In general, pickup locations are typically at centralized points to facilitate a quick and safe collection of students without delaying traffic. Afternoon drop offs consider quick and safe locations, generally in the same vicinity as the morning pickups. We cannot provide "door to door" service due to timing and traffic patterns especially during morning rush hour periods. In the past, centrally located pick-up and drop-off points have worked out very well.

General Notes and Fees

  1. Riders should arrive at their stop 10 minutes before the posted time.
  2. The school cannot and will not prorate the costs for missed rides.
  3. The 2020-2021 two-way rider fee is $2200 and the one-way ride fee is $1320. Fees may be reduced based upon the phase of reopening due to COVID-19. A $100 non-refundable, registration fee is required to complete enrollment.
  4. All bus deposits (DeMatha and Seton) MUST be paid to DeMatha.
  5. DeMatha and Seton students will be billed Quarterly.
  6. Bus transportation for DeMatha students is NOT billed with the FACTS payment plan.

Inclement Weather Policy

In case of a 2 hour delay for Prince George's County Schools due to weather, bus routes will pick up 2 hours later than the usual time. For example, if the usual pick up time is 6:30 a.m., the pick up time would then be 8:30 a.m.
