DeMatha Alumni Band Scholarship Benefit Concert

This event is free and open to the public. Enjoy performances by DeMatha's Sinfonia, Philharmonic, Wind Ensemble and an alumni band consisting of over 80 musicians spanning six decades, under the direction of John Mitchell and James Roper. 

Any donation given will be divided between the John Mitchell and James Roper Scholarships.  These scholarships are designed for talented and dedicated DeMatha students who demonstrate strong musical ability and a commitment to their craft and they are awarded on an annual basis.  Specifically, the John H. Mitchell Scholarship is focused towards students in the music program that may have difficulty paying for tuition.  The James S. Roper Scholarship is focused towards students that may not have been awarded a music scholarship as an incoming student but has worked diligently to exceed all expectations.
