8th Grade Applicant Attending a Catholic School In The Archdiocese of Washington
- Students must complete an online application via the Admission Portal for the 2023-2024 Academic Year. A $50 fee is required.
- In addition, to be reviewed for admission, a student must register for the High School Placement Test (HSPT) and must select DeMatha as one of the three allowed high schools. By doing so, his catholic school will automatically send to DeMatha his Catholic High School Student Information Form, which includes grades and recommendations.
- If interested in scholarships and/or financial aid, please review the Tuition & Financial Assistance page for instructions. The Archdiocese of Washington application (via TADS) deadline is December 3rd and the separate DeMatha application (via FACTS) deadline for priority consideration is December 15th. Students may apply after December 15th, but will be placed on a wait list for financial aid consideration.

8th Grade Applicant Attending a Public, Private or Home School
- Students must complete an online application via the Admission Portal for the 2023-2024 Academic Year. A $50 fee is required.
- In addition students must also register for the High School Placement Test (HSPT) administered by the Archdioceses of Washington (ADW) or Baltimore (AoB). DeMatha must be selected as one of the high schools for scores to be sent. Click here (ADW) or here (AoB) to register online.
- During the online application process, students are directed to request, via the Admissions Portal, a copy of academic records from their school Registrar. In addition, three
recommendations from school personnel are also required. Requests for these items are made in the Manage Checklist portion of the Admission Portal. Records and recommendations are due on or before January 20th.

Transfer Applicant

International Applicants

In addition, three recommendations from school personnel are also required. Requests for these items are made in the Manage Checklist portion of the Admission Portal.
