Mission
The purpose of the club is to raise the awareness of the environment and to establish ways that we DeMatha as a community can better our environment.
Help DeMatha Recycle!
The ACE Ecology Action Team is inviting all members of the DeMatha and Hyattsville communities to use the huge green and yellow bin next to the school in the parking lot on Madison Street to recycle paper products. Items include:
- newspaper
- magazines
- catalogues
- office and school paper
- mail
The ACE team uses the funds generated from PaperRetriever to purchase additional recycle baskets for classrooms and school offices. Their goal is two tons of paper every month, so all of the above products are welcomed. (Please note: cardboard is not accepted).
The DeMatha ACE/ Ecology Team is now recycling empty/old printer/copier/fax toner cartridges. Please drop them off in a plastic bag in the Counseling Center.
