Mission
The DLC is a brotherhood of students of Hispanic descent. It was found in 2006. The purpose of this club is to promote sensitivity, understanding, acceptance and respect for people regardless of their differences. Its primary task is to create an open forum where dialogue is encourage between students, faculty, parents and the community on specific issues and concerns of the Latino community. DLC works to educate ourselves about all cultures, and in turn, seek to educate others about our Latino heritage. DLC will function as an educational and cultural learning instrument for incoming families and students to feel welcome with people of their culture and to help them adapt to DeMatha life.
