Ongoing Service Opportunities

Below is a list of ongoing service projects that are available to DeMatha students.  Please contact the person listed with the service opportunity for more information on a particular service project.

  • CASA de Maryland is non-profit immigrant outreach center located in Hyattsville that offer services such as legal assistance, health information, language classes, and advocacy to the immigrant community. Volunteers are need to help community members who are preparing for their citizenship interview by helping prepare their applications, performing mock interviews with the student, and review the reading and writing portions of the exam.   • The Special Needs Bowling League needs you! Volunteers are needed on Saturday mornings to assist special needs athletes in their annual bowling league. You can serve once or many times. Volunteers need no experience with special needs people or bowling-please come to play and have fun.
