Daily Mass will be celebrated during the interim period 10:30 a.m. in the chapel. All are welcome to spend some time in prayer every day.
The DM Stag Store will be closed on Friday, May 26th.
End of Year Liturgy/Awards will take place Thursday, May 25th. We will follow a special schedule. No homeroom or interim 7, 5, (Assembly 9:55 – 11:25) 4, 4, 2, 1.
Locker Clean Out:Lockers must be cleaned out by this Thursday, May 25th. You may NOT use your locker during exams. ALL items will be removed from lockers Thursday afternoon. It is the students’ responsibility for the loss of items removed.
Underclass Final Exams: Students need only attend during their scheduled exam time, must be in proper uniform and properly groomed. No food service available during exams. College Park Metro shuttle departs DeMatha 15 minutes after the last exam.

Bus Transportation for Friday, May 26th buses run at the regular times in the AM and depart DeMatha at 1:10 PM.
College Park Metro Shuttle departs DeMatha 15 minutes after the last exam.
No After –School Waiting Room starting Friday, May 26th through Thursday, June 1st. Students arriving before their exam time should report to the old gym and in between exams. Once the exams are over, ALL STUDENTS MUST LEAVE THE SCHOOL.
All Athletic Lockers should be cleaned out by Thursday, June 1st. All red locks should stay on the lockers. Anything left in lockers after June 1st will be donated.
Student Parking Permit Application for 2017-2018 school year will be available from Mr. Gardiner’s office starting Tuesday, May 16th. Applications must be completed entirely and paid in full to be accepted. The cost is $100. Contact Mr. Gardiner with any questions at email@example.com or 240-764-2233. Anyone who thinks they will be driving anytime next school year must apply now.
Medications: Any athlete or student who has any medications or inhalers stored in the Training Room must pick them up by the end of the school year or they will be discarded.
- Interested in Joining the Priesthood?Discernment Camp for high school boys grade 9 through graduating seniors at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland July 16-19, 2017. Fee is $100. For more information please contact Fr. Mark Ivany at 202-636-9020.
- Summer Internship:The City of Hyattsville is looking for a clerical assistant for a summer internship. This is a non-paid internship and does not count for DeMatha's Christian service hours. Duties include data entry and file management and the development of a database for the City office. Intern must have a strong work ethic, be interested in data collection and electronic archiving, and be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Service Hours: Students are reminded that service hours are due on Friday, May 19th. Please use the online system to submit your hours; all information and links have been emailed to your DeMatha email accounts.
- Need Summer Service Hours? The MD chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association is in need of male volunteers for their summer camp in June. Where: Camp Fairlee in Chestertown, MD. When: June 17-23 (overnight). Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 410-494-7106.
