• Daily Mass

  Daily Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel at 7:15 a.m.

• Eucharistic Adoration

  Eucharistic Adoration during period 3 in the chapel.

• Bake Sale/Juniors Contribute

  This Friday, February 3, there will be a bake sale in the cafeteria during lunch periods. All junior families are asked to donate home-made or store bought baked goods. Please send your donation into the cafeteria in the morning. Items should be packaged individually and will be sold for 50 cents each. Thank you.

• PG Solo and Ensemble Festival

  PG Solo and Ensemble Festival Saturday, February 4 ALL instrumental music students participate at Kenmoor Middle School.

• Spanish NHS Reminder

  The Spanish National Honors Society members who signed up for the Spanish tutoring this Saturday, February 4th are asked to be at CASA of Maryland from 1-3 PM. For Further information please see Cameron Whitehead or Ms. Jost.

• DeMatha Stags Needed for Job Openings

  The Country Club at Woodmore is looking for self starters that are outgoing and have some golf knowledge to help in the golf operation. Bag Room Attendant: club cleaning, cart service, driving range and customer service. Offering very competitive hourly rate, plus tips, and provides uniforms, meals, and limited golf privileges. • DMLI

  DMLI Members Monday, February 6 Junior and Senior DMLI members are asked to meet in Mr. Holsey’s room for a brief meeting after school.

• Parent Organization Meeting

  The DPO will meet on Tuesday, February 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the Kilby Alumni Lounge in the Convocation Center. The Director of Counseling, Mrs. Maureen Ritz, will address freshmen, sophomore and junior course selection for next year. Senior parents will have a mini-workshop on organizing for the move to college. All are invited to attend.

• Library Reservations

  The Library is reserved for a class during periods 2 and 10 on the following Wednesdays: February 8 and February 15th. In addition, the Library is also reserved on February 15 during period 11 for an NHS meeting. No students will be able to enter the Library on those dates and periods.

• Science Scholars

  There will be a meeting of all members of the Science Scholars Program on Wednesday, February 8th in room 106 during period 4. Students should inform their teachers and get their assignments prior to the meeting.

• Yoga at DeMatha!

• 2012 DeMatha Catholic HS Football Coaching Clinic

  Coaching Clinic to be held Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 10:00am - 5:00pm at DeMatha in the Convocation Center. The cost is $30 per coach. • 2012 Graduation Video

  2012 Graduation Videowill be available for purchase for $45 (after April 1, cost is $50). This professional DVD contains graduation from start to finish. DVD’s will be shipped directly to your home. Order forms can be found on our website under Forms or in the Main Office.

• 2011-2012 AP Bulletin

  Mr. Paolucci will be distributing the 2011-2012 Advanced Placement (AP) Students and Parents Bulletin to students in AP classes this week. Payment for AP Exams will be due by Friday, March 16th, the last day of the 3rd quarter. There will be more information to come regarding the payment process. Campus Ministry

• Student Volunteers

  Student volunteers are needed on Saturday, February 11, from 1pm-4pm to help with a Valentine's Day celebration at Friendship Arms. Volunteers are needed to play games and socialize with residents; they can earn up to three contact service hours. See Ms. Morris in the CMO to sign up.

• Overnight Retreat

  Do you want to go camping, eat smores, spend time with your friends and grow in your relationship with God? If so, then the Overnight Retreat is for you. The Overnight Retreat will be held February 23rd-25th at Camp Lett’s Retreat Center. Sign-ups will begin today. Spots are limited.
