School Closing

DeMatha now follows Prince George’s County Schools for delayed openings of one or two hours and school closings only.

Early Dismissal

In cases of an early dismissal for Prince George's County Schools, DeMatha will make an independent decision.

Please listen to WTWP 1500 AM or WTOP 103.5 FM, and News Channel 8, check DeMatha's website, or be attentive to email from the ParentAlert.

Bus Transportation

DeMatha now follows Prince George’s County Schools for delayed openings of one or two hours and school closings only. Bus transportation pick-ups are also delayed accordingly.

If Prince George's County Schools are closed, DeMatha will be closed and the bus will not run.

If Prince George's County Schools are closed before the completion of the day, the bus will follow the directions of DeMatha with regard to early dismissal.
