Under head coach Tony MacAulay, DeMatha Hockey has become a dynamic force in the WCAC and the Mid-Atlantic region. After winning the first four WCAC titles (2017-20), the Stags added the 2023 Mid-Atlantic Prep Hockey League championship. MacAulay’s son, Kaleb, was named first-team All-Met and is now playing junior hockey in Canada. MacAulay enters his 22nd season at DeMatha with a career record of 427-254-57 (.617). The 2023-24 campaign promises to add to the Stags’ illustrious success. Here are some fun facts about DeMatha hockey

• The Varsity/Prep teams have played 860 games and have compiled a .681 winning percentage – Over 1300 games played at all levels!
