Course Description
This is a studio course in watercolor painting and techniques. Students will learn and refine skills to produce balanced compositions with attention to the elements of color, design and balance. Techniques and skills learned and used will be drawing, color theory, image design, paint with watercolor pencils, graphite, draw with dry pastels and paint with watercolor pigments. Students will be required to paint varied subject matter intended for different audiences, to practice multiple skills and to convey different messages.
