Spring of Seventh Grade
The Archdiocese of Washington is sponsoring Catholic High School Fairs on Monday, April 29th and Tuesday May 7th. Click here for information and registration form. Participation is free. The fairs provide a convenient way for families to meet representatives from most of the high schools, pick up informational materials and learn about the admissions process and tuition assistance - all at one site. The fairs are sponsored by the Archdiocese of Washington in partnership with the Catholic high schools. .
Fall/Winter of Eighth Grade
Early September:
Call the Admissions Office after September 9th to schedule a shadow visit. Shadow visits begin the third week in September and end the second week of February. Request an Application for Admission to DeMatha or visit our web site to apply online.
October 1st:
Apply for Archdiocesan Tuition Assistance at www.CatholicSchoolsWork.org.
Apply online for Archdiocese of Washington High School Placement Test (HSPT) at http://www.cvent.com/d/hcqpqq/4w.
November 1st:
Apply online at FACTS Tuition Aid for DeMatha Tuition Assistance (DeMatha Grants). Applications due December 15th.
November 3rd:
Attend Open House at DeMatha from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
December 7th:
High School Placement Test administered at DeMatha. Pre-registration is required. Students report to the main building at 8:30 a.m. Testing ends at 12 noon.
Early December
Tuition Assistance forms due to the Archdiocese of Washington. Please visit the ADW site for more information.
December 15th:
Application for admission to DeMatha Catholic High School deadline. Paper applications are due in the office by Friday December 13th, 4 p.m. Online applications accepted until midnight December 15th. Tuition assistance forms due to FACTS.
January 13th (2014):
Transcripts and teacher recommendation forms (three) due in the Admissions Office.
February 27th:
Decision letters sent on or after this date.
March 17th:
Registration, fees, and tuition information due for the Class of 2017.
Spring/Summer Prior to 9th Grade
April 15th: ( 2013)
New Student Orientation held in the Convocation Center at 7 pm.
May 11th & June 1st:
Placement Exams for New Students. Report to the Main Building, rooms 327 & 329 at 9:00 AM. No calculators allowed. Bring 2 pencils.
July 15th:
Health Forms due in Main Office.
July 27th:
Schedules mailed.
August 3rd:
Used Book Sale and DeMatha Parent Organization Uniform sale in the school cafeteria.
