New Student Information

Registration

Registration fee and forms for new students are due in the Admissions Office by March 12, 2012. Register online for tuition payment plan by visiting FACTS Tuition Management Program.  Your DeMatha ID is located on top left portion of the decision letter.

Orientation

New Student Orientation is scheduled for Monday April 16, 2012 at 7 PM in the Convocation Center.

Placement Exams

Placement exams are scheduled for May 12th & June 2nd at 9:00 AM.  Report to the Main Building, rooms 327 & 329 at 9:00 AM. No calculators allowed. Bring 2 pencils. 

Student Schedules/Used Book Sale

Student schedules are mailed the last week of July. Information about online book ordering is included with the schedule. Used Book Sale and DeMatha Parent Organization used uniform sale is scheduled for August 4th in the school cafeteria from 9 a.m. until noon.

Summer Programs

DeMatha Catholic High School and faculty members who teach at DeMatha offer a variety of academic, arts and sports programs for students during the summer. Information on summer programs is posted in March.

Extra-Curricular Activities

DeMatha offers a program of extra-curricular activities to appeal to the interests and abilities of a wide range of students. These activities include varsity, junior varsity, freshmen, and intramural athletics, service organizations, student publications, clubs and organizations, student government; the National Honor Society and elective band and chorus groups. The school encourages any worthy activity for which sufficient interest is shown.

Uniform Measurement

New Student Uniform measurement is scheduled for Saturday,  June 4th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the school cafeteria. Our uniform company is Sky Associates. If you are unable to attend on June 4th you may place orders  only via their web site.  Click here for details. 

School Dress
9th and 10th graders Navy blue blazer with emblem
11th and 12th graders Maroon blazer with emblem
All students Khaki pants with DM emblem or solid Grey trousers. Plain dress shirt and tie & dress shoes.  We have a strict shoe policy that requires a specific style of shoe.  These shoes must be purchased with Skye Associates. Dunhams may be purchased for shoe size 15 or larger.  Boots, referee type or athletic sport shoes, shoes with ribbed bottoms and shoes that extend over the ankle are not permitted. Black-soled shoes are also not permitted.
Warm weather dress code
(Sept. & May)
Khaki pants and dress shirt (tie optional) or DeMatha golf shirt, and dress shoes. DeMatha golf shirt can only be purchased at the DeMatha Book Store. All students may wear any color DeMatha golf shirt during the months of September and May.

Booster Organizations

All parents are encouraged to take an active part in the booster organizations which function throughout the year. These organizations are: The DeMatha Parents Organization, the Band Boosters, the Senior Booster Club and the various athletic booster groups.
