We hope the following information about DeMatha will lead you to investigate this Catholic, private, all-male high school that provides its one thousand students with nationally recognized comprehensive programs. These programs have impressed the United States Office of Education to the extent that the school has been selected twice as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.
The Web page will list the many programs offered for a modest tuition; however, regardless of how many courses and/or activities DeMatha students pursue, the primary goal of the school is the development of each young man as a Christian gentleman who possesses the values and skills to confidently assume a contributing role in our society. To do this, a student must have an awareness of God and His goodness, an awareness of self, and an awareness of his potential as a unique person in this world.
The importance of the high school years during which time adolescents become adults mandates special circumstances, quality teachers, and a methodology that combine to create an effective school.
