All DeMatha students must complete a college preparatory program of study while at DeMatha. Students who need additional help with their studies have these options:

DeMatha teachers are often available to meet with students before or after school for assistance or guidance on academic subject matters.
- Academic departments will schedule after school review sessions during the school year.
- The Counseling Center works with National Honor Society (NHS) students each year to develop a list of peer tutors who are available to help students during the school day. NHS tutors are available every period throughout the day. Students should see their counselors for further information
