Important Dates & Reminders
Here are several events at which attendance is
mandatory and some at which attendance is optional.

Senior service hours are due.

Senior Parent meeting – mandatory. At least one senior parent must attend, 7:00pm in the cafeteria. NO STUDENTS. We expect to hand out announcements, name cards, Baccalaureate and graduation tickets at this time.
Senior Reflection paper due.

Prom – optional. This is the senior privilege day—seniors do not have to come to school. There is NO OTHER “SENIOR SKIP” Day. Afterprom sponsored by the DeMatha Parent Organization.
Graduation/Baccalaureate Mass practice – mandatory. 10:45 a.m. in Wootten Gym. Caps and gowns will be handed out.
Faculty-Senior Dinner – optional. A great night where students and faculty get to be together for a last time
Senior exams – mandatory. No one gets a “social promotion” at DeMatha.
Retreat/College Prep Program – mandatory. Your son is required to attend retreat and the college prep program on the days he is assigned to go.
